The Civil Right’s Commission is currently investigating into BIGBANG member SeungRi’s KakaoTalk chatroom that allegedly includes conversations about soliciting prostitutes for business investors. And it has recently been reported that it’s not just SeungRi, but several other K-Pop celebrities who are participants of the chatroom.
While the specific names have not yet been disclosed to the public, the reporter who submitted the conversation to the Civil Right’s Commission did hint that everything will soon be revealed. In addition, messages have been submitted to the Civil Right’s Commission instead of the police since the reporter felt that the latter could not be trusted and may potentially be involved as well.
The chatroom also dates back to December 2015, providing a substantial amount of information regarding shady dealings that involve clubs within the Gangnam district and corrupt police officials.
The Civil Right’s Commission also released a statement saying that they will hand the evidence over to the prosecution once solid evidence tying police officials is secured.
