Most Buzzworthy Korean Dramas, Actors from April 29 to May 5, 2019

We’re introducing our buzzworthy K-drama rankings, which list the most talked about Korean dramas and actors in news articles, blog posts, community forums, social media, videos, and other online platforms. In other words, these rankings reflect which dramas are constantly being discussed online and do NOT depend on television viewership (we have separate rankings for this–the popular K-drama rankings). As a result, you might see dramas that record low television viewership but place higher in the rankings than those which garner high TV ratings.

For the week ending May 5, 2019, rom-com Her Private Life topped the drama ranking, with its lead actors Park Min-young and Kim Jae-wook also in the lead in the actor ranking. Previous winner Nokdu Flower dropped to the third place while the new period drama Different Dreams came in second.
