OCN’s Kill It has released two dark and brooding teasers for Jang Ki-yong‘s character in the drama.
In the first video, Jang Ki-yong is walking through a dimly-lit a tunnel while a haunting piano melody plays in the background. He fires the gun he is holding, and the text “Signature killer action” flashes on the screen. The scene cuts to a close-up of Jang looking at the camera, with drops of blood on his face and a cruel, goosebump-inducing expression in his eyes.
The second teaser is pretty much the same as the first, with a slight difference—this one ends with Jang covering half his face with a mask and looking ahead with a resolute expression.
In the drama, Jang Ki-yong plays Kim Soo-hyun, a veterinarian who lives a secret life as an elite assassin. He is famous for doing his job without leaving any trace and is employed by gangs all over the world. No one has any information about his name, age, or gender. When Kim was a child, he was abandoned by his parents and lost his memory, following which he was taken in by Pavel, a killer, who raised Soo-hyun to be just like him.
His past bears huge similarities with Detective Do Hyun-jin, played by Nana, who was also raised by adoptive parents. She graduated top of her class at the police academy and is famous as a brilliant detective who does not show much emotion. She starts hunting a serial killer after her lover’s death, leading her to cross paths with Kim Soo-hyun.
Kill It will premiere on March 23.
