Fans and viewers of the ongoing paparazzi-themed drama Big Issue will have to take a break from watching for next week.
On March 29, SBS announced that they will “reorganize” the next episodes, resulting in episodes 17 to 20 being preempted next week. The network mentioned that the move aims to ensure the quality of these episodes, an effort that will avoid the editing error incident which occurred last week.
On its March 21 episodes (episodes 11 and 12), Big Issue aired scenes with unfinished computer graphics work. While the production team apologized for the mishap, they decided to make certain improvements by reorganizing things so it will not happen again in the future. They will spend the extra time focusing on editing.
Meanwhile, the preempted regular episodes will be replaced by special programs that will summarize the first 16 episodes of the drama.
Big Issue is about a former celebrity photographer (Joo Jin-mo) who falls from grace after a scandal and ends up becoming a paparazzo for an entertainment tabloid thanks to its notorious chief editor (Han Ye-seul) who would do anything to get the latest scoop on the lives of celebrities. It will resume airing new episodes on April 10.
