On March 12, Search: WWW, a Korean drama about successful women in the workplace, released stills from its script reading session which took place on February 22, 2019, in Sangam-dong, Seoul. In attendance at the event are lead actors Im Soo-jung and Jang Ki-yong.
Also present during the table read are supporting actors Lee Da-hee, Jun Hye-jin, Ji Seung-hyun, Lee Jae-wook, Kwon Hae-hyo, Ha Seung-ri, Yoo Seo-jin, Woo Ji-hyun, Oh Ah-yeon, and Song Ji-ho.
The new tvN series (previously known as WWW) will focus on career women in the tech industry, telling both their professional and romantic stories. It is directed by Jung Ji-hyun (Mr. Sunshine) and written by Kwon Eun-sol.
Im Soo-jung (Chicago Typewriter) perfectly fits her character Bae Ta-mi, a big shot at Korea’s leading internet portal site, Unicorn. Bae is a strong and confident woman who is good at winning. She always prioritizes nothing but work until Park Mo-geon enters her life. Jang Ki-yong (Come and Hug Me, Kill It) is taking on that role, a CEO of a company that produces music for games. They meet each other for the first time at an arcade.
Meanwhile, Lee Da-hee (The Beauty Inside) plays Cha Hyun, a manager at Unicorn’s rival, Baro. Flawless and stunning, she surprises people with the fact that she is a former judo player.
The production team said that the synergy among the cast members is present during the event.
Search: WWW has begun filming last month and will premiere in the first half of 2019.
